Young People's Refuge

The Young People's Refuge is one of the oldest youth refuges in NSW. In 2003 Detour House Inc took over the care and management of the Young People's Refuge.

    The Young People's Refuge provides supported accommodation for young women aged 13 to 17 years who are homeless or at risk of homelessness through individual, holistic case management for up to 3 months. The Young People's Refuge upholds the belief that each individual has the right to be free from discrimination, harassment or any for form of abuse. We have 6 short term beds and 1 crisis bed.
